WAR OF THE WORLDS 1980

These 10 pages were to be the start of a book project chronicling my design process. It may still happen, but his blog is quicker and will hopefully reach more viewers. I'll try to add to the attached captions if I think of something else to say.
Here I thought it would be interesting to go back to the source material for WAR OF THE WORLDS, since all the other adaptions from Orson Welles on up had modernized the story. There was something appealing to me about keeping the setting Victorian London and thankfully Johnny Simons as director agreed with my idea.
